Over the past twenty years I have been intimately involved in all
the areas within the Production & Post fields, this covers both broadcast
and the commercial markets . My background as an editor along with
my management skills enable me to cover all areas of the role along
with having a complete understanding of the technical, creative and
client service aspects of the job.

As a producer my role requires me to utilise all my skills in the technical and service related areas along with having excellent communication and budget knowledge. Chris has been involved in the television industry since 1966. In that time he has worked as a
Film Editor, Director and Producer in sport production, drama and documentaries.
Since Event TV started the company has produced successful sport programs and documentaries for local and International broadcasters.
Chris has won NZ television awards in 1996 for the documentary “No Latitude for Error” and again in 1999 for the Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Surf League. In 2000 Chris produced and directed “Black to the Future” for Television New Zealand. This won the prestigious ABU Documentary of the year in 2001.
Chris has won two consecutive Emmy’s (2004 & 2005) for his director/producer work on the World Ironman show – shot in Kona Hawaii
